Caption: Thomas Alva Edison Memorial Tower Companion Marker
Additional Description: Vandals have stolen a portion of a companion marker to the tower. It is assumed a large crest with Edison's likeness was above the small plaque which reads:

"Dedicated to the memory of Thomas A. Edison on the 100th anniversary of his birth. Donated by the citizens of Raritan Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey on February 11th, 1947 at Menlo Park."
