Quarters of General William Tecumseh Sherman | Additional Description: The above 1936 photo is provided courtesy of the Historic American Building Survey. The Survey's supplemental information for the building reads, "Built in 1834 by Thomas O. Larkin, US Consul, during the Mexican regime, and occupied by Lt. William T. Sherman 1847 to 1849. General Halleck also headquartered here. From 1849 to 1855 accessed to Jacob P. Leese."
