Caption: Fort Pulaski from the Exterior
Additional Description: This photo was taken from the southeast, looking back at the fort. On the corner closet to the camera, the repaired section of the fort is clear, even in this grainy photo, as a different color tone from the surrounding brick. The flag pole in the center of the fort is close to the location the original was posted at the time of the battle.
