Caption: Muzzle View of 30-pdr Parrott
Additional Description: The markings indicate this rifled gun was produced in 1863 by West Point Foundry, New York. It was inspected by Alfred Mordecai, Jr. (initials A.M.) and weighed 4,206 pounds. The 4.2 on the lower right notes the diameter of the bore, and the alternative name for this type of cannon.
