Thirty-fifth Site on the Historic Sites of Abbeville Tour
Originally a livery stable, this building was constructed around 1820 and used as stables until the early 20th century. W.G. Bowie Wholesale business occupied the space for most of the 20th century and the Bowie family donated the structure to the City. The building has been restored ans converted into a public space with the help of two South Carolina National Heritage Corridor grants.
