Taken: 2007
Caption:
Brickwork in lighthouse portal | Additional Description: The thickness of the lighthouse decreases towards the top. It is said that the British were unable to destroy it with their artillery because, due to the thickness of the walls and the shape of the exterior, the cannon balls were deflected away when they struck the exterior.
