Sixth Site on the Historic Sites Tour of Abbeville County
The home is a good example of early homes in Abbeville during the first part of the 19th century. Note the large boxwoods planted to the left of the house over a hundred years ago. The house is protected under a preservation easement held by the Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation. (Source:
