Photographer: Syd Whittle
Taken: June 27, 2011
Caption: Bell Tower
Additional Description: The markers are mounted on stone bases at the foot of the bell tower. The bell was cast in England in 1859 and was used to sound the fire alarm until it was replaced with a siren in the mid-1950's. The siren was used until the 1980's and now only announces the noon hour.
