Additional Description: Benjamin Franklin Mauldin's father, Benjamin Sr., was a merchant, Baptist minister, and signer of the South Carolina Ordinance of Secession. Mauldin was president of the South Carolina Bankers Association and namesake of the City of Mauldin in nearby Greenville County. In addition to this bank, Mauldin founded and was president of banks in Anderson, Due West, McCormick, Hodges, Mt. Carmel, Trenton, and Townville.
