Additional Description: These plastic plaques are attached to a low pedestal to the right of the door to the replica. The small plaque reads, “replicated in 1926 by the Daughters of the American Revolution and other Tazewell County citizens to honor the pioneer settlers,” followed by the text of the roadside marker. The larger plaque lists the men who served at the fort. The list can be found elsewhere on this page.
