Caption: Mike Cronin's Carriage in the Collection of the Adirondack Museum
Additional Description: This carriage, built by the H. A. Moyer Co. of Syracuse, NY, was donated to the Adirondack Museum in 1968 by Eloise Conin Murphy. Mike Cronin was a backwoods Irishman and proprietor of the Aiden Lair Lodge in Minerva. Cronin drove Teddy Roosevelt the final distance to North Creek in this carriage early in the morning of September 14th, 1901.
