Additional Description: Samuel "Mule" Giles son of James Hervey and Anna Augusta Hamilton Giles. Fought in the War Between the States. Born January 21,1848 and died June 17,1899, he was unmarried. His parents are also buried at this site and their names are also on the obelisk.
