Photo on History of New Franklin Marker | Additional Description: [Caption reads] Rivercene mansion is Victorian Second Empire style, same as the Missouri Governor's Mansion. Its slate mansard roof is one of the earliest in this part of the country. Used by permission, State Historical Society of Missouri, Columbia.
