During his visit to Savannah May 12-15 1791
was a guest at the inn which stood
on the northwest corner of
Barnard and State Streets.
This tablet is placed
in commemoration of the
Bi-Centenary of his birth by the
Daughters of the American Revolution
in Savannah ~~1932
