Additional Description: The building became the Kum Bak drive-in restaurant in 1940. In the 1950s, it was common for so many cars to be parked around the Kum Bak that it was hard to find a vacant spot. It was run by Jasper Davis for 25 years and was closed in 1969. Davis' widow, Katie Bowie Davis, passed away May 4, 2010 in Abbeville.
