Church but on his dying
bed gave every evidence
of having made his peace
with God.
After committing his soul
to Christ, fell asleep in
Jesus.
And this shall faith's
consoling power
The tears of love restrain;
Oh! who that save thy
parting hour
Could wish thee here again.
