Gen. Andrew Jackson’s Trail Marker | Additional Description: Located just south of the marker at the intersection of South Jackson Street (U.S. 129) and Broad Street (U.S. 319). General Andrew Jackson and his troops used this trail en route to Fort Hughes and Fort Scott during the First Seminole Indian War in 1818.
