Additional Description: Stonewall Jackson married Elinor Junkin, the daughter of Washington College President George Junkin, in this house in 1853 and lived in the north wing (seen on the right). After becoming president of the college in 1865, Robert E. Lee lived here until his residence was built in 1869.
