Caption: Entrance to National Cemtetery, Antietam Battlefield
Additional Description: Anderson's Brigade, from mid-day on September 15 until the early morning of the 17th, occupied a position just west of the Lutheran Church, on the east edge of Sharpsburg. The ground today is part of the National Cemetery. The two tablets at the entrance are for the Washington Artillery, numbers 307 and 308.
