Caption: Scotia Museum and Heisler Locomotive - view from south
Additional Description: On the grounds of the museum is a Heisler locomotive. Built in 1921, its first three years were spent as part of the Mt. Tamalpais and Muir Woods Railway, before heading north in 1924 to haul timber. It was eventually acquired by the Pacific Lumber Company and put on display here in 1951.
