Caption: Old North Church in Dumont
Additional Description: Soldiers passed this church several times in the history of the United States. During the Revolutionary War, Gen. George Washington passed this point with the Continental Army. Years later, during World Way I, more than one million soldiers marched past here on their way to nearby Camp Merritt for service overseas.
