Caption: Grave of Gen. Enoch Poor Marker
Additional Description: Gen. Poor died suddenly during the Revolutionary War when the Continental Army was encamped in Hackensack. The Army surgeon reported that he died of typhus, but it is also rumored that he might have been shot in a duel near Hackensack on September 6, 1780 and died two days later.
