Additional Description: - with one of the square's ever present pigeons in front of the State Russian Museum on Ploshchad Iskusstv. This monument was created by sculptor Mikhail Anikushin and erected in 1957 to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of St. Petersburg and is considered the finest of the several Pushkin statues in Russia
