[Caption reads] The cattle drives often started in southern Texas, ending at railheads in Kansas. The cattle moved about ten to twelve miles a day and took two and one-half to three months to reach their destination.Submitted: May 12, 2013, by William Fischer, Jr. of Scranton, Pennsylvania.
