Steuben House | Additional Description: This house, built in 1752, is located near the marker on the west side of the New Bridge. Owned by loyalist Jan Zabriskie, it was confiscated by the American government, and served as Gen. Washington's headquarters for several weeks in 1780. It was later given to Maj. Gen. Baron von Steuben to thank him for his service to our country.
