Additional Description: According to graveaddiction.com , the purity, fidelity, love triangle with a star at center is the, "Symbol of the Order of the Sons of Temperance, a fraternal organization that promoted the temperance movement (abstinence and prohibition of alcohol). Usually seen with their motto: Love, Purity, Fidelity." Asa Ames. Died Aug. 4. 1851: Aged 27 Yrs. 7 Mo. & 7 days.
