Additional Description: Looking past the marker to the southeast. The Lott farm buildings are in the far center. Federal batteries were arrayed to the south (right) of the farm. Fitz Lee's and Hampton's Brigades began their charge from just out of frame to the left, advancing in the direction of the Lott farm. McGregor's Battery dueled with the Federal guns and provided support for the advancing brigades.
