Additional Description: This bench is located about 1 mile south from the Earleigh Heights Store marker, along the B&A trail and then west 1/4 mile on McBride's Lane. The text on the bench reads "This bench is dedicated to the memory of Jason Asbury Pack, a former slaver who toiled under adversity but persevered to acquire this tract of land formerly known as "Pack Town". We, the Pack family, welcome you to take a load off your feet in this community now called Northridge. John Asbury Pack (1835-1926) & Rebecca Anne Pack (1843). Beloved Children: Isaiah Bud Pack (1878-1949), Jason Asbury Pack II (1879-1958), James L. Pack (1880-1986), Laura Luvenia Pack Bly (1886-1976), Mary Jane Pack Stiles (1887-1952), Charles Wesley Pack (1888-1952)."
