Yenching Palace
Photographer: Allen C. Browne
Taken: August 17, 2013
Caption: Yenching Palace
Additional Description: The Yenching Palace’s neon sign, with its reversed “Y” was a Washington landmark. Interestingly, the original building permit for the sign (B-36652, issued June 19, 1958) shows a sketch of the 20-foot sign with the initial letter facing the conventional way.
