Additional Description: Opposite the memorial plaque to Ida and Isidor Staus is this memorial to Macy's co-workers who fought in World War I. It reads:
We honor those who do us honor
In this metal we inscribe our humble expression of appreciation to those of our co-workers who have gone from our midst to defend a principle and bring peace to a stricken world.
