Willow Ranch | Additional Description: In the early 1940's Willow Ranch was a thriving lumber mill. Logs were cut on the west side of Goose Lake. The logs were formed into rafts of 200,000 board feet and towed across the lake by boats like this one. It took five hours to cross on a calm day. This boat is 8' wide and 26' long and is protected by metal with steel "teeth" at its bow.
