Caption: Brig. General Orlando B. Willcox (1823-1907)
Additional Description: Willcox was captured at First Manassas and held for over a year. Upon his release, he was appointed by President Lincoln a brigadier general and given commanded the 1st Division of Maj. Gen. Ambrose Burnside's IX Corps in 1862. He led the division at the Battle of Antietam and the corps at the Battle of Fredericksburg.
