World War II Honor Roll Marker, as it appeared prior to adding veterans' names from all wars. | Additional Description: The citizens of Georgetown, Illinois yet pay respect and honor to all enshrined on this Memorial. Georgetown is a small town (census in the year 2000 has its population at 3,628, 16% of whom were veterans). When duty called during World War II, Georgetown and Eastern Illinois answered the call!!
