Pine Forests Interpretive Sign | Additional Description: Pines grow much more rapidly than hardwoods. The fast growing forest can begin to produce pulpwood size trees with 5" diameters in as little as 10 years and will reach sawlog maturity of 18" - 20" diameter in about 25 years.
