Additional Description: "In memory of Marin L. Wade, this land, located north of the Village of Heidlersburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania, and occupied by Confederate troops under the command of Major General Robert E. Rodes, immediately prior to the Battle of Gettysburg, is being dedicated to the Township of Tyrone by the State of Alabama to be used for public purposes. This land was given to the State of Alabama in the Last Will and Testament of Martin L. Wade dated June 20, 1966."
