Additional Description: The portrait on the right is of Francisco González Bocanegra. On the left is Jaime Nunó, who composed the music for the Mexican National Anthem. The anthem was first played publicly in September 1854. Both portraits are by José Inés Tovilla from 1918. (National History Museum at Chapultepec Castle, Mexico City).
