Ambassador Hotel | Additional Description: Designed by Architects Earl B. Scott and K. McDonald this 6 story hotel building with Renaissance/Baroque styling was built in 1911 as the Ferris Harriman Theater and Hotel. The theater was converted to a garage in 1929. Today it is a Single Room Occupancy Hotel providing low cost housing in the Tenderloin.
