157th New York Position | Additional Description: In the early afternoon of July 1, the regiment was posted with their left flank on the Mummasburg Road, facing to the northwest, with their unit line roughly parallel to the modern Howard Avenue. Later in the afternoon, the regiment moved to the east near the Carlisle Road, where another monument is posted.
