Caption: The Fredericksburg Artillery View of the Battlefield
Additional Description: Looking east from near the tablet location toward Cemetery Ridge. The battery's guns were focused on Federal guns and infantry defending Cemetery Ridge on July 2 and 3. In this view one can make out the "Copse of Trees" in the distant center, which became the focal point for Longstreet's July 3 assault.
