Caption:
A Rare Make of Confederate Napoleon | Additional Description: Confederate Napoleons are rare compared to their more numerous Federal counterparts. Quinby & Robinson, of Memphis, Tennessee, one of seven known manufacturers of the Confederate Napoleons, produced eight. Of those eight, two are cataloged survivors, both at Gettysburg. This particular example differs from other Napoleons with a "chase ring" about an inch from the muzzle.
