Additional Description: This marker supports the Peace Treaty of 1905 street memorial. It is located on the front of the Piscataqua Savings Bank Building at 15 Pleasant St. #1, about 150 feet from the sign. It is inscribed: This tablet replacing the ancient law sign is a merited memorial to Patriot Calvin Page whose emergency cooperation with President Theodore Roosevelt and Governor John McLane made possible the Portsmouth Treaty of 1905 between Russia and Japan.
