Monuments to Wyoming History Marker | Additional Description: Captions: (center) Grace Raymond Heard, pictured here in front of the monument at Fort Laramie, led the marking efforts of the Daughters of the American Revolution.; (upper right) Dedication Ceremony; Trailing Texas Longhorns. The herd stretched out for a mile or more with cowboys placed along the edges depending upon skill. Cattle could be moved 10-15 miles a day or 300-500 miles a month.
