Additional Description: The Haven Hill Natural Area has been named a National Natural Landmark as one of the finest examples of its biological communities in the country. Genevieve Gillette noted that it includes all types of Michigan forest — tamarack, cedar, beech-maple, oak-hickory, and mixed hardwood.
