Caption: Pickett's Division Line of March from the Assault
Additional Description: The Division advanced out of Spangler's Woods into the open fields here and crossed over Emmitsburg Pike heading for the "Angle" and "Copse of Trees" in the Federal line on Cemetery Ridge. From this point, the Pike cannot be seen, due to slight elevations in the terrain. The Angle and Copse of Trees are seen on the distant ridge line, just left of center.
