Berne Cheese Factory - 1906 | Additional Description: Berne Cheese Factory - 1906: Built by Thomas Wood on his farm north of the village of Berne, on what is now NY Route 156. The small straw huts beside the cheese factory were erected by Italian laborers who came to pave the roadway. This photo is on display at the Berne Town Hall.
