Ibra Charles Blackwood (1878-1936) | Additional Description: His time as governor (1930-1935) is best known for the creation of the South Carolina Public Service Authority in 1934 and the deaths of six striking workers in Honea Path on September 6, 1934. He died the year after he left the governor's office.
