Caption: Army, Navy and Air Force Nurses Monument
Additional Description: When this monument was dedicated in 1938 in honor of WW 1 nurses, its inscription read “Army and Navy Nurses.” In 1970 Navy Captain Delores Cornelius, the Deputy Director of the Navy Nurse Corps had the current plaque placed on the monument.
