Old Stone House | Additional Description: The Marylanders made their stand at this Stone House, allowing the rest of the Continental Army to escape to Brooklyn Heights. Of the 400 Marylanders, 256 died in front of this house and 100 others were killed or captured. Only 10 made it to Brooklyn Heights. The Stone House is located several blocks from the marker.
