The Prentiss Building
Photographer: Mark Hilton
Taken: March 23, 2018
Caption: The Prentiss Building
Additional Description: Thought to be one of the oldest buildings in Vicksburg and possibly constructed in 1791. It originally was used as the headquarters for the city's militia. Two large brick tunnels were found during courtyard renovation and were presumably used to store ammunition.
