Photographer: Postcard published by Valentine and Sons (image courtesy of the Thomas Crane Public Library)
Taken: Circa 1910
Caption:
Adams Academy, Quincy, Mass. | Additional Description: Two things are worth noting on this century-old postcard view of the Academy: 1) it had a bell tower, and 2) the Hancock marker was present even then (and not yet verdigris-colored, if one is to believe the color values chosen by the postcard publisher).
